For today’s Advisor Website Showcase, we are joined by Letizia Carlisto of Navis Wealth Advisors. We asked Letizia handpicked questions about the firm, its strategies and it’s processes. It was great to talk with Letizia and hope you enjoy her answers as much as we did.

Making use of FMG’s website engine, Navis Wealth Advisor took aim at creating a website themed around its logo – the compass. It’s their mission to “Help you know your trajectory, find your path, determine your future and leave your legacy.” The driving force of the site is to highlight the many different strategies and solutions Navis Wealth extends out to its clients, with each service page outlining the planning process, tools and resources available to visitors, helping them self-qualify.

Read on to see our Q&A with Letizia to find out what makes Navis Wealth so unique. She was happy to share some of the firm’s history, strategies and insights. We hope her answers inspire ideas for your own website.

1. Can you tell us a little more about your services and the history of your firm?

Navis was founded in 2018 by partners Paul Fegan and David Price. Having both extensive backgrounds in the industry, their goal was to establish a family office that would allow our clients to benefit from a wide array of in-house services. While many firms offer investment and financial planning, we go the extra mile by offering tax planning and advice, as well as business consulting and insurance and estate planning, just to name a few.

2. Navis Wealth Management was founded in 2018, what has been the hardest part of getting to where you are today?

Being that Navis was founded a year before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it was challenging not to be able to meet with others in person. We had to quickly learn how to adapt to new ways of communicating with clients and with each other as a team.

3. The theme of your site seems to focus heavily on direction and navigation. What led you to use those themes as inspiration for your site?

Our firm’s name was created with direction in mind. Navis’ goal is to guide our clients along their path to financial freedom, navigating through life’s ebbs and flows, all the while helping them to understand and know their trajectory.

4. Social media is integral to the growth of your online presence and overall marketing strategy. We noticed you’re active on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. How do you go about managing your social media?

We too understand the importance of social media, which is why we partnered with FMG to create a new website and look at social media from a new perspective. FMG helps us to keep track of social posts, plan events, and share relevant information with our clients in a timely fashion.

5. What led you to update or create a new site with FMG? Has this inspired you to update or create other things to improve your online presence?

We wanted our website to be more interactive. Because we offer a wide array of services, we think it’s important that our website showcase that in an easy-to-use format that is user-friendly. The new site does inspire us to improve our online presence – be on the lookout for new blog posts and videos!

6. If you could give other advisors any advice on redesigning or creating their website, what would it be?

Let it reflect who you are as a company and where you plan to go. Don’t be afraid to stand out.

7. How has your overall experience with FMG been so far?

It’s been so great working with FMG. Every associate that we’ve dealt with so far understands our vision and they work very diligently together to make our ideas come to life.

8. Your firm has a compass of different services. How would you describe the process of deciding which services you’d offer? Do you ever plan on expanding your repertoire?

The process of deciding which services we offer to clients is very bespoke. No two situations are exactly alike, so every service is custom to fit that person or family’s needs, wants, and goals. We absolutely plan to expand our repertoire in the future. While our clients’ needs are everchanging, so too does our capacity to learn and offer new, creative solutions.

9. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and what would you do with it?

We wish we could time travel! We love sports so the idea of traveling back in time and betting on games is enticing!
